Meeting called to order at 7:33 pm.

Tony Young moved that the October meeting minutes be approved and it was seconded by Nick Fleming. Motion passed.

Financial Report: Bill Roe

Club Northwest remains healthy financially. Expenses for nationals are going to be more than expected. Bill will be instituting a system for requesting checks and submitting reports from high cost and income areas.

Northwest Runner Report: Martin Rudow

December issue of Northwest Runner will be on glossy stock and there will be more color. A direct mail campaign is being carried out. A discount on event entry fees on CNW sponsored events was discussed for new subscribers. The increase in printing costs will mean that CNW may not receive any revenue from the magazine for several months, but the changes should pay off in more product sales and subscriptions that would more than make up for this revenue in the long run. Martin will be looking for folks to help with the Seattle Marathon expo.

Team: Chuck Bartlett

Club Northwest dominated the PNTF meet November 5^th in Seattle with Sarna Becker taking 1^st in the Women’s 6k and Mark Mandi taking 1^st in the Men’s 10k. The USATF Northwest Regional Championships in Sandy, Oregon on November 18^th was discussed. The CNW team will compete in the USATF Club XC Championships in San Francisco, CA on December 9^th. Chuck mentioned that we might want to review team and uniform policies down the road.

Events: Brian Oster and Bill Roe

Club Northwest did very well in the PNTF meet in Seattle. The Seattle Marathon is Thanksgiving weekend and help will be needed for that meet. Brian also provided an update on the Road Runner Sports Resolution Run. Brian and Bill reminded the Board of the Club’s on-going commitment to the Winter Grand Prix Series (sanction fee and two 1 page NWR ads from our allocation).

The Tuesday night runs at Road Runner Sports are continuing. The Saturday runs at Magnuson Park have been discontinued.

New Business:

Bill Roe will be inventorying and organizing the Club Northwest storage area this Sunday starting at 2:00 pm at Sand Point and would appreciate any help.

The USATF Region 13 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships is November 18^th in Seattle.

The move to adjourn was made by Nick Fleming and seconded by Tony Young. The meeting adjourned at 9:05 pm.
