Openings:

Meeting called to order at 7:31 P.M. with a ‘Lets Go’

Minutes from the March meeting will be rewritten by T.P. and will be voted on at the April meeting.

 

Financial Report: Bill Roe

  • We have $14,060.57 totals in our four bank accounts.
  • Northwest Runner’s check was for $2,304.60.
  •  RESO run profit to Club was paid and the $3,500 is reflected in the bank balance given tonight.
  • All bills have been paid though April, including athletes reimbursements.
  • We have received the bill from Shoreline Stadium for the 2005 All Comers meets.

 

 

Northwest Runner Report: Martin Rudow

·         The May issue of Northwest Runner will have five full pages of color advertising for The Running Network

·         Karen Steen will run and then work the Northwest Runner’s booth at the Capital City Marathon

 

 

Events/Pro-Motion: Brian Oster

  • Spring break open had to be canceled as the lanes were deep in water. A new field had been put in and the week before and the drains were covered. By 10:00 lines one and two were 2” under water.
  • Shoreline Stadium will be the home for all of these years All Comers meets. Starting Wednesday June 1st

 

 

Team:

·         Chuck Bartlett is Club Northwest’s Team Manager and all athletes do need to go though him for the most up to date information on races, meets, events, etc  that our athletes want to participate in. It does not matter who your coach is. Your coach may be involved in the Club but only Chuck as our Team Manager can make the decision for you on events. Not only do our athletes need to have the best information, but so does Chuck. We will soon add a ‘Club Northwest Directory’ to our web site for a coaching resources page. With local people who coach runners and are willing to take on additional athletes. We will have all the contact information for you to get a hold of them. We will also have all of Chuck’s contact information on the same page.       

 

Continuing: New Business/Membership

  • We have placed a new order for Club ‘t’ shirts, as our new goal of not only sending out the shirt in the first week or two, but also too send the correct size. More evidence of Club moving forward to better serve our members.
  • Brian will have a letter drifted and will email it out for approval soon. This letter will be atop the membership card that will be sent to all current members and to new members as they join. More evidence of Club moving forward.
  • We made up subcommittees of board members for our three contractors. For the purpose of better communication between them and the board. On the Team committee headed by Chuck Barlett are Saul, Shelley, and Sara. Membership committee headed by Brian Oster, are Nick, Phil, and Tony Robinson. Northwest Runner committee headed by Martin Rudow, are Hatz, Regina, and Tony Young.

 

 

 

No motions were taken at the meeting, but to adjourn

Meeting was adjourned at 9:17 PM by a motion by Phil and a second by Nick.
