Meeting Minutes

T.P. Shelley Neal, Nick Fleming, Steve ‘Hatz’ Hatzenbeler and Phil Finger

 

Guests: Brad Hooper, Tom Cotner, and William Emerson

Chuck Bartlett of Chuckit and Club Northwest’s Team Manager

 

Openings:

Meeting called to order late at 7:54 P.M. as we waited for a quorum that never materialized.    

  

Minutes: Nick Fleming

Minutes from November were available but could not be voted on.      

 

Financial Report:

  • Bill was in Los Vegas
  • Bill reported to Brian that we have $5,900 in checking

 

Northwest Runner Report: Martin Rudow

  • Martin and Chuck will be going to the Runner Network annual meeting in January
  • Lots of active at the booth during the Harris Direct Seattle Marathon expo, thanks to all that help Martin out.
  • Projection for 2006 Martin will have at the February meeting
  • Races that advertise in Northwest  Runner seem to do well
  • We were unable to discuss Martin’s insurance plan

 

Events, Membership/Pro-Motion: Brian Oster

  • RESO run January 1st with a 10:30 start time
  • We need to talk about the Spring Break Open
  • Club Northwest fees will be going up sometime in the spring of 2006

 

 

Team:  

·        Our team did well at the USATF Club Nationals with the open woman’s team placing 6th Men’s open placing 16th Master’s Women’s placing 1st we did not field an Master’s Men’s team.

·        Chuck will meet with Brooks next week for contract talk

·        We will also have a New Balance offer next week

·        Chuck may call it quits as our team manager his contract runs though the end of 2005

·        Brad Hooper was at this meeting to discuss funding for tri-athletes and what do we provide for this sport, we did have some information in the 1997, someone will find what was voted on then.

·          

             

 New Business:

  • T.P. and Nick will start with a bi-monthly Saturday run from our offices here at Sand Point. This will be designed for the slowest amongst the Club Northwest members. 
  • We may owe William Emerson $300.00 or so from some 2003 and 2004 entry fees

 

Motions:

  • No motions could be taken as we did not have a quorum.

   

Meeting was adjourned at 9:10 P.M.
