July minutes motion to accept made by Tony Y. and seconded by Phil

November minutes motion to accept made by Shelley and seconded by Sarah

December minutes motion to accept made by Phil and seconded by Tony R.    

 

Financial Report:

  • Bill’s Financial Report which is not the final figures for 2005 shows us in good financial shape with balance of about $14,000. X/C expenses were over budget but that was easily made up by Northwest Runner. We also don’t have the numbers in on our RESO run yet.

 

Northwest Runner Report: Martin Rudow

  • Martin had just gotten back from Florida where he and Chuck were attending the Running Network annual meeting. Northwest Runner and Brooks will now be able to work together for advertising and not have to go though the Running Network. Martin would like to have a writer who could cover a new High School section in Northwest Runner, most of us want high schools to have more coverage but it needs a dedicated person to do it.  T.P. will be the member of the month.

 

Events, Membership/Pro-Motion: Brian Oster

  • RESO run was a wiz-bang success with 495 runners participating in the ‘trip’ and 300 more participating in the ‘trip’ and the ‘dip’ for a total of 795 runners having a great time. The new start time, the kids run inside, better weather than last year all helped make this year’s RESO run a great event. This year’s Spring Break open will be held on Saturday March 25th we still need to find out if a stadium will be available. Club Northwest is one of the sponsors of a new race at Green Lake on February 12th the Love’em or Leave’em Valentine’s Day 5K Dash.     

 

 

Team:  

·        Chuck has been paid for January for his team manager duties. This is noted because his contract expired at the end of 2005.

             

 New Business:

  • We will be advertising our annual meeting in the February and March issues of Northwest Runner. We will also email all Club Northwest members we can.
  • We will start our bi-monthly Saturday morning runs this coming Saturday the 14th. We also have group runs starting very soon on Tuesday from Road Runner Sports and Thursday from Super Jock-n-Jill
  • By-laws will need to have changes made look for email and have input at the February meeting for changes that will need to be voted on at the annual meeting in March
