Thanks to everyone for taking part.  Our numbers held pretty steady in the sour economy, and we got lots of positive comments on the series as a whole, including about our helper crew from Nathan Hale High School.  We hope you convey your positive comments to Super Jock 'n Jill and New Balance, and let them know how much you appreciate their sponsorship!  The weather was the best-ever as well -- we don't expect that to happen again!

Our awards presentation was much more successful than last year, but we have to apologize -- the parks department told us that there was a big event in the park, and that might have scared some of you away.  There was nothing else going on, and parking was plentiful!  We live and learn!

If you are listed in the results as a winner and didn't attend the ceremony, you can pick up your prize at Super Jock 'n Jill after Monday, March 1.

We are scheduled to start our 15th series on Saturday, December 4.  We want you to help us get more folks out, particularly in our kids' divisions. For that reason, we are going to expand our divisions for kids from two to four --
12-under
13-14
High school frosh-soph
High school junior-senior

We might also add a college frosh-soph division to encourage our younger college runners!  And some of our women's divisions were pretty small.  Your help in getting new folks introduced to the series would be appreciated.

Until then, have a successful and happy 2010!
