I started running when I was just 12 years old, running for my middle school cross country. After realizing that I had some talent, I decided to run for my high school team, where I found that my passion for running was more than I could have ever foreseen. After high school cross country ended, I started running independently, setting lofty goals to keep my motivation for fitness a priority through college. I went on to UW, studying economics and applied mathematics, and running as a way to stay fit. When I was 19 years old, I qualified for my first Boston Marathon, taking 26 minutes off my first marathon time. I realized that my passion was helping me increase my potential, but I needed some guidance before I could set any more goals. After hearing about CNW through word of mouth, I joined for a few months, before heading off to London for a year abroad. I re-joined CNW in Fall 2017, and look forward to many years to come. Running with a competitive club has helped me realize my potential, and has given me confidence to set and achieve bigger goals. I will be staying in the Seattle area for the foreseeable future, working for a public accounting firm.
